Social audit in MGNREGA ( Hindi )

This episode depicts various aspects and significance of social audit in MGNREGA. The free and fair auditing of MGNREGA works twice in a year, could help in strengthening the rural employment guarantee scheme. Mr. Shekhar Singh, who is member of working group on transparency and accountability in MGNREGA talks about two models of social audit, i.e. Rajasthan model and Andhra Pradesh Model. In Rajasthan, people are auditing MGNREGA works with the help of NGOs whereas in Andhra Pradesh, state government has setup a directorate for social audit in MGNREGA.
